For Australia Post deliveries, the driver will leave a note for you to collect your order at your local post office. Parcels are kept at the post office for five days, you will then receive another note to remind you to collect your parcel. It will then be kept at the post office for a further five days, after which it will be returned to the location it was dispatched from.
Note: For residential deliveries being made by Australia Post, they can occur as early as 7am. For business addresses, the delivery will be made during standard business hours, 9am to 5pm AEST/AEDT
If you know you won't be home to sign for your delivery you can select "authority to leave" with Australia Post.
If you choose ‘authority to leave" for your delivery, i.e. delivery without a signature, you have advised Australia Post that they may leave your parcel unattended at your premises in accordance with your instructions. You agree that the parcel is deemed 'delivered' once left at your premises.
